Middle Sister,
You love to be called HUGE! Actually, you love everything to be huge. Yourself, your clothes, your toys, and every night at bedtime you have to have two to three HUGE hugs and HUGE kisses. You are two years old, and your favorite color is blue. If it's blue-you want it, you don't care what it is.
You love your little sister. Which is weird, because we all thought you would have a hard time adjusting to her (aka- dislike her). But it's the opposite, your obsessed. If she is awake, you are right there with her. Within an inch of her....literally. You have your own baby voice you talk to her in, and I'm pretty sure you think she is blind, because you don't want to talk to her unless your so close that your noses touch :)
I love the way you say her name. Your voice is deep & raspy...and you say it very loud and drawn out, but so serious! When she cries, you tell her it's okay and not to cry. If she cries or fusses for "too long", you come and tell me to "feed little sister yours boob" so she will stop.
You are a Dora fanatic. You love to dress up. If I let you dress yourself to go somewhere, you would come out of your room wearing a shirt and sweater of some sort. Panties (if we are lucky), but no pants. Mix matched socks and sandals on.
Your favorite song is "How he loves us". One day we were driving somewhere & I was listening to a song on the radio. After it was done, you said "Mom, I wanna listen to my song!" I said "Ok...what is your song?" Even though I knew. You said "you know!" So I turned on How he Loves us, and waited for my favorite part. The chorus, because you get really really loud and sing "he yoves us! ooohhhhh how he yoves us! ohhh how he yyyooovveess!"
It's pretty cute.
Today, you called big sister's Nintendo DS, a "D-E-E-E-E-E-E-S", and you really thought that's what it was called.
You love....ME.
You are a mama's girl, and you have been from the start :)
I love how I can't sit down anywhere without your climbing all over me to get on my lap.
I love how you bang on my door when I'm getting dressed and call me shar-yay.
I love your HUGE hugs and kisses.
I love that you go to bed "like a big girl" now, but it makes me sad sometimes when you tell me that you don't want me to lay with you or sing you any songs.
I love how you want to be just like your older sister.
Before her soccer games every week, you and her talk about how your going to be her "team" next year. You like to say that you are her team.
You both have bunk beds now, and the only place you want to sleep is on the top, with your big sister.
You want to say everything she says and do everything she does.
I love how you look out for her, and there is no way that I can give you a drink or snack without you asking for one for your big sister too.
You love silly bands.
Especially blue ones.
You love animals, and saying your numbers in Spanish, just like Dora.
You love to read and be read to.
We could cuddle on the couch with a stack of books for hours and you would love it.
I think it's funny how you make me read the same book over and over and over again.
It makes me proud when you tell me what everything on the page is.
You are spunky.
You are fearless.
For a little bit, I was having a hard time getting you to stay buckled in your car seat. You kept unbuckling yourself. One day you did that, and we were on a very busy road which made me even more nervous. So I pulled over to a gas station, took you out of the car and told you to walk home. So what did you do?
You started walking right for the road!
You didn't care one bit.
You love pretzels, goldfish, apples, and candy.
You like it when I put makeup on you for fun, especially "lipstick".
Your bangs are currently chopped very short and crooked.
Your aunt gave you gum, and you got it in your hair.
It was really bad, I ended up having to cut it out.
But, the short choppy bangs kind of fit you.
You remind your daddy and I of Edith from Despicable Me, and Ramona from Ramona & Beezus.
You make us laugh, hard.
Your pretty great- HUGE baby chunka monka.
{a name she likes to go by. every month she seems to add something onto it)
